These were made in Birmingham by Collins & Sons Ltd from 1960, and are stamped on the inner lid.  I just have three of this make at the moment.
A lovely compact in pale green enamel with sylized leaves and flowers and central panel on the lid and a flower design on the back.  A gift from Felix, bought from Jan West at our Bristol convention.

Goldtone shell-effect pattern, this compact was commissioned by HMS Urania and presented to the wives of serving members of the crew.  The picture on the right shows a close-up of the ship's crest.
Very pretty, slim compact with goldtone centre and coral-coloured outer rim. Inner lid with sifter & puff which appear unused.
