Unfortunately, I don't know anything about this manufacturer, but I think these are American compacts. Perhaps someone can enlighten me please? There are many examples of these fine enamelled compacts and vanities in Roselyn Gerson's book.
|This is a particularly stylish vanity with a wonderful enamelled lid which I bought from Carol Bates at our 2006 Convention. It measures 2.5" by just 1.25" and contains powder, rouge and 2 pull-out lipsticks. The silver foil still covers the rouge and it appears un-used. It is in superb condition.|
|A very dainty La Mode vanity in pale yellow guilloche enamel with a plain yellow back and scalloped edge to the lid. The rouge is housed in the lid beneath a chrome flip-up mirror. It has its original puff and sifter, measures 2.25" square and is in excellent condition.|
